ASTO SHIPYARD DEVELOPS EXTENDABLE VENTILATION-INTAKE
Due to changes in de ADN-regulations, the ventilation of the machine room most be adjusted. The ventilation shaft must be at least 6 meters from the cofferdam and 2 meters above the deck. Especially on the bow this often proves challenging. The Extendable RVS ventilation-intake (or ‘Mushroom’) from Asto Shipyard offers the solution so the ship can attain her low-profile.
The Mushroom can be extended electrically or by hand and is available in two variants: single extendable with a range of 600mm or double extendable with a range of 900mm. Additionally the Mushroom is available in a stylish high polish finish.
